The base price ($18,000) is a complete turnkey package that includes the entire structural steel chassis, insulated wall and roof envelope, 2 bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen cabinetry with countertops and sink, pre-plumbed bathroom with shower stall, toilet and vanity, double-glazed windows, and pre-wired US-compatible electrical circuits. The only additional expenses are site delivery freight (quoted directly to your ZIP code) and local foundation leveling.
Yes. We offer factory-installed upgrades including R-30 extreme cold insulation, triple-pane argon windows, 18,000 BTU mini-split heat pumps, 5kW/10kWh solar and battery systems, quartz waterfall kitchen counters, and folding porch decks. Because these are installed on our factory floor, they cost significantly less than hiring local contractors.
The home is shipped in its compact folded configuration (5,900 mm L × 2,220 mm W × 2,480 mm H (Road-Transport Legal Width)) directly from our factory via standard intermodal container freight. It arrives at your property on a flatbed trailer or tilt-bed truck. A standard 25-ton crane or heavy rough-terrain forklift lifts the unit from the truck and sets it directly onto your prepared foundation piers.
The Quanhui 20ft Modular Home requires support at the main container corner castings and intermediate leveling points beneath the expanded wings. Popular foundation choices include poured concrete piers (augered below local frost depth), concrete grade beams, continuous concrete strip runners, or a full poured slab. Ground screw anchors can also be used in suitable soils.
Yes. The electrical infrastructure is specified with UL American Standard Certified Electrical Outlets, Switches, and Breaker Panel. Outlets, switches, and wiring follow standard North American color coding and gauge requirements, feeding into a pre-installed central distribution panel. Plumbing supply lines use standard PEX tubing with standard threaded NPT connections, and drainage connects into standard schedule 40 PVC sewer / septic hookups.
The structural unfolding process takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for a standard 3-person crew. Mechanical winches or hydraulic assists swing out the two side wings, ceiling panels lock into place, fold-out end walls are secured with weather-sealed bolts, and the interior subfloor joints are fastened. Once unfolded, utility connections and trim finishing can be completed in 1 to 2 days.
In many US jurisdictions (such as California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Florida), prefabricated modular structures can be permitted under local ADU ordinances, state modular housing programs, or rural accessory structure codes. Every unit includes a 3-Year Manufacturer Warranty on Steel Framing & Thermal Enclosure covering the main structural steel framing, chassis integrity, and weather enclosure against factory manufacturing defects. Mechanical and plumbing fixtures carry individual manufacturer component warranties.
